Going Under the Knife 08/29/2011 09:15 PM CDT

Just found out today, that I'll be getting the first of two hip replacements on Sep 13th.

I suspect this may interfere with my DR schedule, so if you don't see me around for a while, that's probably why.

On a different more serious note: Having been under the knife several times myself, I wish you a very successful surgery with a quick and safe recovery.

Hmmm... DR while under the influence of some serious narcotic pain killers...

Once you wake back up make sure to ask them if they used tempered kertig or stuck with a tyrium mix weighted with platinum.

That way they think they need to up your dosages.

Or lower them. I guess it depends.

Caraamon's player had his first hip replacement surgery yesterday morning. He is doing well and should be out of the hospital in about 6 days.

Made it through the surgery fine, then had a multi-day bout of violent nausia in reaction to some of the pain killers. It was not fun.

But now I'm home, healthy-ish, and as happy as can be expected. Expect to see me wandering around every once in a while.
