I'm a little confused about roars and battle cries.

Using 5th circle as an example I see there are 2 potential battle cries to learn (honor and steadfastness), and there are five different roars you can learn (I already learned Death's Embrace). I'm now 16th circle, and noticed at 15th circle there are 3 more battle cries to pick from and three more roars.

I'm assuming at each milestone (5th circle, 15th circle, etc) you get to only choose ONE, either a roar or battle cry but not both? I seem to recall having tried but couldn't. I take it that dances and berserks work differently.

Correct, battle cry OR roar.

I wouldn't pick any of the battle cries until you get every roar you want.

Roars/battle cries, berserks, and dances all are on separate awarding schedules and are not interchangable.

So then I'm correct in my assumption that NO barbarian ever had/has all roars and or battle cries. Is virtually impossible.

No, it's just flat out impossible.

You get 1 at 5th circle, and every 10 circles after that. So at 150th, you have 14 slots.

There are 18 roars and 8 battle cries, so no one can have all.

Has there been any word if this is going to be the same after everything 3.0? Is there going to be a roar wipe? There is so much changing and I only recently got back. Its a lot to try and keep track of.

There will be a roar wipe. In 3.0, all abilities (roars, dances, berserks) will come from the same slots. You'll get 1 slot every other circle until 100. From 100-150, you get one every 3 circles. From 150-200 you get one every 10 circles. In general abilities will cost more than 1 slot each.
