Howdy folks. I need some help in test tonight. We have elemental weapons that need a torture test, and I'd like to observe some PvP if you have the time! Please PASS THE WORD!


A broadsword is a heavy edged melee-ranged weapon.
A broadsword trains the large edged skill.

You are certain that it could do:
low puncture damage
somewhat heavy slice damage
fair impact damage
moderate fire damage with affinity for slice attacks
moderate cold damage with affinity for puncture attacks
very severe electric damage with affinity for impact attacks



There is a table at the NE gate with elemental weapons. Each element has a damage affinity which determines the types of attacks most suitable for doing damage of that type. The damage type can be random, as is the case with some spells like Incinerate. These will change affinity with each attack, so they work acceptably with weapons of all types. Each of the 3 elements has new damage messaging when you inflict physical damage. I've also snuck in a few new combat messages in general :)

* Does elemental damage seem to work properly?
* Do affinities work properly?
* Does the appraise work properly?


* Identifying PvP issues
