Trying to make sense of the AGE INFO and AGE CYCLE commands. Do characters have the option to die of old age and walk the starry road?

Lorewise: Yes. People can, and do, die permanently on a regular basis.
Mechanically: No. Permanent player character death is no longer a part of the game.
