Enemy despawn with lodged weapon 10/10/2015 12:06 PM CDT
My haralun weapon lodged into an enemy that moved rooms and immediately despawned. Without registration or bonding am I just out of luck trying to have this recovered or is there a chance if I assist?

It's dark in here. Real dark. Good thing you ate your carrots when you were growing up. Spiders lurk in the corners of the room, and there's a seedy-looking character trying to pick your pocket. You greet her with a smile, saying, "Hi, mom!"

Have you tried the lost and found at the carousel desk? Even without registration I think an item can end up there, although I'm not sure about lodged critter weapons.

If not, it's always worth an assist, but no guarantees.

Also, general PSA for everyone: Register your items.

Lost and Found will be your best bet, but it's extremely unlikely that anything can be done if it's not in there. First thing you should always, always do with anything really important - particularly thrown weapons, or other high-risk items - is register. Or bond first if you're doing that right away, but never use it unregistered.

I hope you find it, though. Good luck!

Side note... remember when ammo went to the at feet slot so you didn't lose it and people cried because they'd have to change their scripts. Thanks for that. Whiners owe me a senci shard.

The complaints were because it interfered with PvP. People were generally fine with it in PvE. If you're going to flaunt your bitter then at least get the reason for it right.

I lost about 4k in quads due to this happening in drakes and not noticing that it was happening. I feel your pain.
