Since the ESP 2.0 update, thoughts on Avalon and other clients no longer go to the thought window. This is because they essentially match on the string /^Your mind hears \w thinking, "/ (sorry for the regex). With a hopefully minor change, they could work again without needing to update the front end clients. As far as I know, the CHATTER system still works like this.
As an example, in ESP 2.0 thoughts now show up like this:
>[General] Your mind hears Vrus thinking, "so quiet these days."
Would it be possible to format thoughts as this instead. Note, this is essentially how CHATTER works (worked?). It's not the prettiest solution, but it does at least fix the issue until the matching on the front ends can be updated at a later time.
