I'm still a ways off from attaining this level of character development, but I wanted to know if you all think this concept works in your opinion, and whether or not you'd do away with any of it. Items highlighted in bold are armor; however, this does not include the mask nor the fingerless gloves that I have(I don't like wearing these outside of training).

You are Fallen Leader Leilond Sootherin, True Bard of Elanthia, an Elf.
You have pointed ears and thick-lashed stormy grey eyes. Your deep purple hair is shoulder length and fine, and is worn loose. You have fair skin and a brawny build.
You are average height for a Elf.
You have a tattoo of a darkened shadowy dragon that appears to be burned into the skin on your back.

You are in good shape.

You are wearing a collared shoulder-cut burgundy longcoat, a duffel bag, a high*-*necked chain threaded shirt with tied sleeves, a small brace buckler, a scarred leather craftsman's belt, some loose burgundy nightsilk breeches, some legwraps, a wrapped thigh sheath, some steel-toed footwraps and an etched steel parry stick with black leather straps.

I like it, especially the armor, which I think fits in well with the overall outfit. The only things that raise an eyebrow for me are the leather belt ("craftsman's?" I think it would be so much better as just "a scarred leather belt") and the breeches, which kinda make me think "pajamas" on a character that is otherwise pretty rough and tough looking. I'm also a little wary of too much color matching -- coats, to me, shouldn't match perfectly with trousers. But that's just me.

But overall, very well done. And no backpack or gweths! Wow.

For my own personal interest, where did you get your armor pieces (including fingerless gloves)? And what kind of armor are the legwraps? Don't worry, I'm not going to copy you. :-p

Actually, that's a good idea, I didn't think about getting that craftman's belt altered--I've just always had it. I've also always had those altered breeches, which I think I will be changing to some form of pants or trousers that aren't burgundy(I agree with you in that I really don't think both the pants and coat should match). Having the burgundy coat and pants seems like a bit much, especially when I was drawing them out in Adobe--it just seemed like too much, and quite fruity. I'll probably go with the burgundy coat with black fire consuming the bottom(only visible in look), and then go with a dark shirt and pants.

The armor pieces are all altered, or will be altered. So far, the only things remaining that I need to alter is that chain shirt.

Oh, and the legwraps are leather and are sold in Riverhaven I believe, so you'll take a hit to defenses for having non-forged equipment, but for the look--they're ideal.

Thanks for the feedback!
