Forest Gryphons 12/21/2008 08:30 PM CST
Valiant efforts by the heroes residing in Rossman's Landing helped to drive back the attack on the town by forest gryphons this evening. When asked, a guard nodded and expressed his thanks, explaining, "Them do gots nests up on t'cliffs, and t'orcs be thinking their young good eatin'. Gets em all riled up."

In other words, a new hunting area has opened for forest gryphons near the Orc Village by Rossman's Landing. The following creatures may be found there:

baby forest gryphons
fledgeling forest gryphons
young forest gryphons
ruby-crested adult forest gryphons
silver-tipped mature forest gryphons
gold-taloned elder forest gryphons

In related news, the forest gryphons near Shard have been reduced to their proper levels. Their combat skills remain unchanged, however their level (which determines muti-op and treasure) has been down-tweaked to reflect their stats.

Maps around the Rossman's area should be cleaned up now. Found a few errors that needed fixed so did that while I was in the area, mainly Rossgallion Keep. I'll try to get the gryphon area done today or tomorrow, time permitting.

don't know whether this is better here or in creatures, but is the super slow attack rate of bigger gryphons intended? Its hard to learn defense when they don't attack. Thanks for the release though, always awesome to see more of the gryphon family.

Fledgeling Forest Gryphons Vs. Young Gryphons 07/19/2009 08:38 AM CDT
In the last few weeks it seems as if the percentage of fledgeling forest gryphons has increased leaving alot less young gryphons in the Gryphon Erie Den area. Is this intended?

Thank you
