It is quite deceptive, and imho, doesn't follow the hint very well. Find me IG. You can rule out a few choices for the top, and for some reason the other one is not what you'd think. Gawd, I hate being vague.

<<Very good point Shan. The manor is clearly in more of a state of being reclaimed by nature than I had thought. It is clearer than ever that the Leth manor is out of town completely and should be wilderness!

Naturn >>

This is what..the area outside the manner? Been inside with the masterwork stone carving, indoor catherdral, massive undead population; things that dont strike me like being part of wilderness at all, nor reflecting an enviroment a ranger is at home with. Infact the inside of the manor reflects by and large many of the elements in haven manor (in town). Over all thought the area outside the manner should, due to all them trees, be considered wildness. The area inside the manor + graveyard should be considered part of civilization. There is no getting around the fact its a 'manor'. Not a shack, but a large building, with intricate hall ways, multiple floors, secret puzzles..etc...its a thieves dream.

It would also be superbly nice if a GM could comment on all this..

Bone Wolves on Manor Grounds 06/11/2003 09:40 PM CDT
I'm thinking of making a trip to Leth to play with the bones wolves on the manor grounds. I have no interest yet in the things inside the manor. But looking at a map I can't tell if I have to go THROUGH the manor to get to the wolves and zombies. And do I have to figure the puzzle with the gagoyle or whatever just to get to the wolves? Thanks for the heads up. ~Rhysa

The wolves themselves can also be found outside the manor...

They can be found outside the gate and on the main road from leth to the manor area.

If you haven't found a way in yet, I've been in the Crossing lately and am usually floating around between there and the manor. Look me up on the gweth or have someone send a locate or fam or something if you need a guide in.

BTW, who are you in game so I know who to look for?

Doesn't seem to ever end does it?

I could use a hint to get pointed in the right direction when it comes to the puzzle to open the door if someone doesn't mind sending it to my Play.net address.

Is it possible to grab the branch to climb the tree on the Manor Grounds south of Leth Deriel? Is this a matter of skill or an in-game secret?

Thanks

Are you starting from within the manor grounds, or outside the walls? If you're inside wanting out, it is too far away but there is an action you can take that will bring you closer. If you're outside wanting in, give up on the trees. Gotta think down and dirty for this one.

Is there a puzzle to get into the graveyard where the revenant zombies and such are too? I was trying to hunt there with my lil Cleric, but couldn't figure it out. Any help or clues would be greatly appreciated.

I have always wanted to know how to get into the manor without having to go through the Germish'din myself.

There is a way to open the gate to the manor grounds (without the germish trip), though i believe it is an In game puzzle. So, you would be best off asking over the gweth or friends who have been there. Having said that, Leth isn't the most populated area and it might take a while for help. I will give a hint, to open the gate, look around outside at any unusual items, and you will need a couple of different mages. Hope that helps a little

Yeah, this requirement makes it a huge pain in the arse.

Easier to get some form of invisibility and run through germish to the gargoyle statue puzzle or get a moon mage to do it for you and gate you in.

Though I am pretty sure the zombies will spawn right on the road along with bone wolves, so there's no need to actually enter the manor grounds.

Running through germishdin isnt that bad. Ive done it about 1000 times and never had one attack me. There are several rooms that you can dig from, but there is one I know to be safe. Once you climb the sinkhole go sw, then all the way west, then nw and n. That room is safe, and from there you can "dig grave" into the manor grounds.

See the title... kartais got a lucky stun and chained them till... well, on the bright side the ghost dragged me into the rubbish heap.

However the total lack of any locates and the obsecure location makes me wonder if even my 6.5 depart time will be enough for someone to randomly wander by... help?

OK. I've been through this and the puzzle folder. I have the first two parts, but cannot figure out what is different for the third part! I've tried every reasonable verb in the Command Compendium(http://www.play.net/dr/info/commands.asp). Any hints?

I don't know why you're confused about verbs...you do the same thing for the third part of the puzzle that you do for the first two parts.

Because I've got the hint from there, I'm doing the same thing I did for the first two that matched, and on the third I get blasted. (thank goodness for PSY) I assume it's something different than done on the first two because that is the only thing that makes sense to me now.

You're doing the last one wrong.

It's the hardest one.

Just try thinking about it differently.

I think I know what your trouble is. The third hint the game gives you is wrong. Its a different one. I had trouble with it too <grumbles>

It's not wrong, it's just harder because you have to think about it differently than the other two.

Yes, it's unintuitive, but it IS a Rigby puzzle.
