During some devious distractions by a bunch of no good louts, a more organized group found an old ventilation pipe and severely damaged it, providing some limited access to Undershard. The authorities are not pleased with this development and have posted a trusted guard to see that the area isn't further tampered with while investigations into the matter proceed.
There were mutterings of an odd, disembodied serpentine head speaking to some folks, but no one has come forward as of yet to confirm these strange tales. Recent discoveries of bodies disposed in darkened alleyways have made many of the locals fearful of getting caught up in whatever may be going on, so further information is unlikely to come to light.
The local guard would like to encourage folks to keep an eye on their safety by not traveling alone and avoiding the darker areas of the town.
Thanks to the work of GM Anji, we have a new area opened in Shard. There are a series of ventilation pipes accessed under the Bridge of Rooks near the Golden Phoenix Inn. There is a guard posted to ensure no unsavory types make it in to tamper with the scene or do further damage.
The hunting here is limited to young Necromancers and Thieves who may be seeking escape from the authorities in other regions. One area has a lower/slower spawn for basic players and the other is higher/faster spawn for Premium players.
