Perigee moon tomorrow night (Sunday 6/23) 06/22/2013 07:27 AM CDT
There's a pretty nifty phenomenon occurring tomorrow night called a perigee moon event. It is the point during the year when the moon is closest to the planet while there's also a full moon. People also refer to it as a supermoon.

If you're interested in photography, you can capture some really amazing photographs especially if you live in places that aren't particularly light polluted. Even if you don't have a camera, you can still capture incredible photographs with your smart phone if you download an app that lets you set really slow shutter speeds and can stabilize the phone. Either way, its still pretty awesome to look at. You can see some features of the moon's surface with the naked eye and it looks pretty ethereal.

Go outside tomorrow night!
