Ok so this cracks me up.. I work at ABC Liquor store in Orlando Florida and have got to share this funny thing that happened tonight.

So normally we get a snatch and grab that happens on the weekend. Well like it usually goes, some guys run out the door with a few bottles. The assistant manager runs out to get the liscence number and whatever description she can. Well a nice customer decides to drive off after em to get what he can also... calling the police on the way.

Now this is second hand information.. The guys crash their car into another car and run off. Cops find lots of drugs in the car. Within seconds their are dogs and helicopters all over searching for them. And... we got our bottles back!

Hey I was amused, freakin busy night though so it was a pain ;)

Speaking of ABC Liquor store, having moved to Florida from Winston-Salem, NC, the term to run get liquor was "running to THE ABC store" because, the liquor there is much more regulated. That means, that isn't like the ABC Liquor store. It took me some time to realize this here in Florida. I would be like, why do they have ABC stores yet Albertson's and the other grocery stores can sell liquor too? Finally someone explained to me it wasn't the same thing. I still do double takes though.

It's like any merchandise.. you're gonna have a shop that specializes ;) Have you gone to any of the wine tastings yet? It's a great outting for the legal aged family. My store is having one in like two weeks.

Hmm, never managed to attend a wine tasting yet, pity Orlando is just far enough away to make an evening trip unrealistic.

check out their website, should have the wine tastings listed for your area somewhere I'm told.
