The Louisiana Renaissance festival is like no other festival
in Louisiana. It's fun, adventurous, chivalrous, educational
and artistic. The Festival is a fun and exciting venture into
the past. They have lots of festivities, parades, and
all-around merriment. Come see the royal parade with their
majesties as well.

The Renaissance festival is known for having peasants,
nobles, knights, barons, clergymen and of course, the King
and Queen. Villagers to look for include: blacksmith, glass
blower, carpenters, weaver, sculptors, potters, pig farmer,
busty wenches, Scotsmen in kilts, and of course, men in
tights. Now, there's a sight.

You will learn about history, how people lived, and
the social structure of the European Renaissance. The LA Ren
Fest is also an artisan marketplace. Many artisans from near
and far display their craft. This is one of the most exciting
ways I can think of to finish your holiday shopping. There is
something for everyone.
