The link is useful, but the "News Announcement" should still be present - it was written specifically for the news. To make the news 4 10 'sharper' the link could be embedded into the title of the item. This would allow a link to the general information while not cluttering the news item. This wouldn't be helpful for wizard users but they can just pull up the calendar manually anyhow. To compress the total information, the ideal would just be to require news announcements be shorter. Then we could write the blurb as we like to fit the space allowed. Also, for Strike Force's case, it could be written as one announcement encompassing all the dates with a slightly different formatting.
