Maybe im being careless and overlooking it but..is there a gear press on the mainland? Or is it just in Fang cove..sorry for the dumb question

Currently only in Fang Cove. Tinkering has been released as a sort of premium preview for now. It will eventually get a wider release.

I don't know if it was intentional but Riverhaven has everything needed for tinkering except tinkerer's tools and lenses.

I'm not sure of intent, but Kodius came and fixed the gear press in Haven to work when I found it did not.

Linear functions achieve their extreme values on the boundary. In other words, you won't do better than a pure metal---in this case, oravir.
