As things are set up now, it's possible to refine a metal ingot to get a 99 quality ingot at the cost of some loss of volume. It would be nice to see if you could do the same thing with other materials like leather, bone, and wood. By sacrificing some quantity of the material, the quality could be increased up to 99 quality. Techniques to improve the efficiency of the refinement could also be implemented.

let's add stone to this list as well as perhaps a way to combine pebbles n' such into a boulder.
