Been a long time since I played an instrument.

>put oca in bask
You notice that moisture has accumulated on your ocarina.
You put your ocarina in your catapult basket.

How do I dry my ocarina? Shake didn't work past a certain point, nor did dry, nor rubbing it with a rag. Also, will this hurt the ocarina?

Hmmm... you can either let it dry naturally, or else treat it to some sweet, sweet Caress of the Sun. In either case, once it's dry, you can then go at it with your repair kit if it was wet enough/long enough to cause any damage.

You hum a tuneless tune.

The verb you're looking for is "wipe". It works with a cloth, and will probably also work with a rag. If the cloth is too wet, you can "wring" it to make it dry. And yes, if you allow an instrument to remain wet for a while, it will become damaged.
