Resin for Crafting 10/03/2010 10:28 AM CDT
Because it could quickly become a topic that goes into 10 sections I'm listing them using numerals so people can respond and talk about specific ones.

Resin for crafting, Resin would seal delicate objects like origami, paper, flowers, etc. To change their property to hard, and make them more permanent.

Resin exists often in trees, but it can be made synthetically. I would propose we take resin naturally, and apply modern aesthetics to it. Making it clear for example.

Perhaps there could be a forest of special trees that naturally drip resin. Although any branch or log being placed in a pyramid or dried with beseech would drip off some resin.

Resin just by itself wouldn't work very well. I worked with it and rosin in the adhesives business for several years.

If you want to propose on how to make varnish or adhesives you'd probably want to put it under Alchemy (dissolve clear resin in naphtha would be a simple way).

I'd suspect that artistry would use sealer or varnish like stone carving uses polish.
