I'm training a lore secondary character and appraisal is part of my combat routine. He has 27 ranks in. I can't get appraisal moving in combat, though. I've been appraising everything I'm fighting. He's in rock trolls now, and still not learning any appraisal. Consequently, my lore tertiary is consistently locking appraisal in combat, although his skill is in the 200s now, and I'm fighting creatures in the 300s. Am I doing something wrong?
