Some abilities that might be earned as ranks progress in animal lore:

Unique Mount Commands- These could vary from simple tricks to functional tasks.

Animal Gaze- This ability can temporarily halt an animal, even a mount or familiar, with a stare.

Animal Calm- To be used on aggressive animals.

Safari guide- All in group are given a boost in adventurer vs. animal conflicts.

Animal Understanding- This ability would be an upper level ability allowing the listener to understand thoughts of animals. These would start out basic as in mood, hunger, complaints, aggression, etc., But at upper levels the listener can discern full thoughts based on a system similar to the rumors system. Information of all sorts might be gained through this ability. One could listen in to the chatter among the horses, or learn of recent wilderness events, or hear of an animals sixth sense of impending doom.

Already exists in a ranger spell.

If you are a Warrior Mage, you can. It is called "Gar Zeng". If you aren't a Warrior Mage, you are out of luck, sorry.

Electricity is, indeed, one of the Warrior Mage spellbooks.

Not true. Spells are guild abilities. They happen to be guild abilities for only 7 out of 10 guilds.
