Su Helmas - New Design Materials 01/20/2023 04:10 AM CST
Greetings!

Two new (non-crafting) quest-level design materials are being released at Su Helmas 2023.

goldfyre
Created by imbuing common gold with an elemental essence, goldfyre retains an actively elemental appearance without being inherently magical itself. Not suitable for crafting weapons and armor, but can be used as decoration on them.

Common Description: Energetic <scarlet/azure/ashen/etc.> pulses create a dynamically active <inferno/deluge/tornado/etc.> effect upon the gold-tinged metal.

Design Note: Goldfyre should be identified by type using an approved adjective, color, or both. There is no 'generic' type. The LOOK should always reference 'energetic <color> pulses' and an 'active <nature thing> effect'.

burning goldfyre: Gold imbued with the essence of fire, energetic scarlet pulses create an effect like an active inferno. Can also be called scarlet goldfyre or burning scarlet goldfyre.

flooded goldfyre: Gold imbued with the essence of water, energetic azure pulses create an effect like an active deluge. Can also be called azure goldfyre or flooded azure goldfyre.

wuthering goldfyre: Gold imbued with the essence of wind, energetic ashen pulses create an effect like an active tornado. Can also be called ashen goldfyre or wuthering ashen goldfyre.

electrified goldfyre: Gold imbued with the essence of lightning, energetic ivory pulses create an effect like an active lightning storm. Can also be called ivory goldfyre or electrified ivory goldfyre.

fracturing goldfyre: Gold imbued with the essence of earth, energetic umber pulses create an effect like an active earthquake. Can also be called umber goldfyre or fracturing umber goldfyre.

ephemeral goldfyre: Gold imbued with the essence of aether, energetic violet pulses create an effect like an active aurora. Can also be called violet goldfyre or ephemeral violet goldfyre.

geobloom
Geoblooms are unique crystalline geodes that have naturally developed with a color and structure that match the aesthetic of a flower.

Common Description: Nested within a stony casing, the geode has developed to naturally mimic a/an <flower type>, accentuated by its particular crystalline structure and coloration.

Design Note: Alterations should not modify the flower type of the existing stone
