Two new (non-crafting) quest-level design materials are being released at Droughtman's Challenge 2022.

stoneskin tweed
Through experimentation with applying magic to fabric originally conducted by Warrior Mages in Hibarnhvidar, a combination of earthen elemental effects proved successful in modifying common tweed during the weaving process. Although the resultant fabric retains no magical properties, it does demonstrate a more durable texture than usual and is patterned with thick terra cotta hued striations. This quality made it popular among the most prosperous local farmers and other outdoorsmen who were capable of affording it.

Common description: Thick striations resembling reddish-brown mineral deposits reinforce the weave while retaining a suitably comfortable texture overall.

demon gaze agate
A particular type of agate, these gems are found across a variety of locales and are superstitiously regarded by some as remote viewing trinkets -- though magicians affirm there is nothing inherently magical about them. The defining characteristic of the demon gaze agate is the presence of a unique inclusion of conjoined ovoids, its piercing sanguine hue always visible through the otherwise opaque, white laced stone.

Common description: A piercing sanguine inclusion of conjoined ovoids is visible at the center of the otherwise opaque, white laced stone.
