Artistry, Auras, Auctions, and an Accountant 11/13/2016 09:35 AM CST
'Change's Celebration,' he thought as he walked the Living Mechanical's spiders insides. 'This place sure had changed,' he glanced around at specific features as he walked to the Merchant's Lounge, He was somewhat early His wife wasn't at the Festival, couldn't arrange to get a ticket within. 'She didn't always like crowds anyways, she'd also probably want to be with you anyways,' he thought to himself in a counter advocating way.

The people talked for a while, a Serene Elven lady who he had known for a while, her name was Kintalia. She thought she was late for such an event, that she wouldn't be able to go. He gathered the few people around, and walked them to Central Intestine area, which used to be the Mechanical's spider hub as best he could figure.

They were early, but others were around and they conversed. He talked with others and made trivial matters were settled or they weren't the time came close to hand and people were sure Captain Kurmin would be there shortly.

He suggested, "Captain Kurmin will come through that vent," as He pointed to a specific vent, and disappointing to himself at least the Captain came out of a valve a good dozen or so spans away from that vent.

There was food and drinks a plenty, though much of it was catered to those who ate meet which he didn't partake in. There was an option for Him here and there, and it tasted good. The drinks were mostly orange, which He preferred the color, not for His profession but the color was something he liked to look at. So it gave him some comfort.

Captain Kurmin made a small announcement and welcomed the guests and told those that cared, that Spider that was Harawep had no issue with staying, needed no additional offerings to anchor it to our plane. Then he offered thanks to those that suggested this party which he forgot, however the adventurers didn't, nor did He and the applause went out to the S'kra Mur empathic lady, Aislynn who had suggested the dance, and just as suddenly she had a moment of brief shyness and ran off, though she returned quite soon thankfully, so the crowds could cheer her and applaud her, and also so that the festivities could begin, and thus the Dancing started.

Oh there were those that danced well as partners, and others who danced well as a group, and still others that danced by themselves, and of course those that danced not at all. There were the silly dancers, the fiendish dancers or at least that was what they seemed to be mimicking the actions of, He thought it was somewhat silly however if it entertained themselves so much the better!

Kurmin seemingly energized by the dancing had frequent energy bursts of dancing, sometimes he did his own odd things himself, however there was a group that went around and started to converse about some of the change the celebration had been about, the Living Mechanical Spider, and Harawep's plan. Captain Kurmin offered his thoughts on occasion, in the speech that which He typically was good at understanding when the Captain broke out and strung a lot of things together into one word, and He couldn't quite understand it. The he made it simple those things that ate, those things that hunger.

Some didn't like this notion, suggested it wasn't. He simply stated, 'The World Dragon was one of the first in History. Phelim Ambushed the Dragon. And Peri'el to this day keeps The World Dragon in slumber.' He continued briefly afterward with, 'Phelim guide's my vigilence for those that Hunger from the Other.'

The Captain agreed with Him, and though the conversation continued and so too did the dancing. When suddenly Aislynn and Captain Kurmin were dancing and the Captain seemed to have even more energy than before and he left the dancing, the celebration, and went off to other parts of the Spider.

The party didn't stop there, but a new visitor came, bringing news of the Priest Investigator that she had met. She was a elven Paladin by name of Isharon explained in brief and simple manners that what was happening, the change in both Captain Kurmin and the Spider, were Holy, and Manifestations of Harawep's will. They were not Necromancy or other evil manifestations.

Then there were some disagreements, and Isharon stated 'you'd regret not having the Holy the next time you'd died and needed resurrection.' Then suddenly her head had an aura to it, those aura seeped into her eyes.

She suggested that perhaps some empaths could find some manner to bond with the Living Spider, for she was alive. The S'kra mur empath Aislynn made an attempt, it was brief and though the experience gave some insight to the Living Spider, before She decided not to allow the empath anymore feel for what it was. He didn't really understand what had happened, for matters of empathy were typically beyond Him other that things could be felt for more real at an other state, then what a simple touch should garner.

The Andu progressed along, and soon the auction started. Many things were auctioned off, and the company most have made much money even after paying off various fees and compensating the various peoples that acquired such oddities. The monies always seemed to go higher at these auctions, where did all these coins come from He mused to Himself, after several anlas of auction, and almost dozing off at points, he did get a few bids here and there but nothing won, it had been a while.

He stuck around a while and people watched, Lady Maghana was there, He hadn't seen her for some time and made polite greetings and small talk with the Seneschal. Perhaps it was impolite but he didn't make any talk with the royal princess, He forgot such customs. When suddenly an elderly S'kra mur an accountant came up to them and started to discuss the impoliteness of not paying off a debt, which had the royal retinue leave. This accountant gave a story where it seemed that Zoluren had taken a debt out to pay for the Grant Temple of Crossing some decades ago, and that through time, despite reminders this debt had not been paid off, or so the accountant suggested.

He remained mostly closed mouth throughtout the next few roisaen as various people made slight quips at the Royalty of Zoluren and their inability to do things right. He whispered to an Elven cleric that such talk might be unwise for those who are within Zoluren, but it didn't seem to stifle her.

As the room cleared more and more out He gave a few suggestions to the old adage of 'you attract more bears with honey then vinegar,' the old S'kra Mur suggested he was doing that, using vinegar, and that S'kra mur seemed to be quite fond of using that vinegar. The conversation continued He suggested that quite a bit of the royalty were young and are just coming of age, and perhaps a showing of compassion and using some more honey with the changing of those in power might lead to better chances to regain the coin.

Then the S'kra Mur left, and so too did He.
