A new area of Thief-only housing has opened up in the Raven's Court on the western side of Crossing.
Sometime s**n, there will be some Trader-only and VIP-only housing made available for other interested parties.

More Raven's Court Housing & Important VIP Info

Hello, everyone!
Two new areas of housing have opened up in the Raven's Court. On the second floor, just off the gallery, is a section of rooms that have doors exclusively for Traders. Also, in the VIP area, there is a trio of rooms for paying members of the Court only.
IMPORTANT POLICY REGARDING VIP HOUSING:
In order to live in the exclusive VIP area of the Court, you will be required to pay a Raven's Court membership fee IN ADDITION to normal housing fees to gain access to the VIP area. You MUST keep up with your membership in order to gain access to your house. If you let your membership lapse, then you need to pay the fee again in order to enter your house. This will be your only warning. Please do not assist if you get stuck with a house in a place you can't afford to live in anymore. We will not be able to help you. You will need to either find a friend to loan you the cash or suck it up until you can earn money to pay for the membership again.
NOTE: You WILL be able to transfer your home out of the VIP area without having to pay a membership fee to access it. The only potential problem with this is losing any exterior customization adorning the door. However, to put this in perspective: if you can afford to transfer your house out of the VIP area, you can likely afford to pay the minimum membership fee to have access in the first place.

You can PAFO this out. Just find a non-member and try to escort them into the VIP area. I'm guessing that's going to fail, and if that is the case then obviously a non-member won't be able to make it past the curtain that's inside the VIP area and thus to your home.

I don't think the home issue is PAFO.
There is a sign, outside the VIP area. You can bring a guest (or guests) in. The curtain (which is closed, or was last time I was there) isn't where the homes are.
You can bring a non VIP holder into your home area.
