Misthaven Plantation cast of characters:

a wandering Elven farmhand (npc)
Is wearing a dark blue overtunic with green trousers and dark brown hip waders. Is carrying a woven fishing creel, fishing pole and bait box.

This NPC sells bait, fishing poles, lures, hooks, and lines.

a mischevious halfing milkmaid (npc)
Is wearing a dark blue kirtle with a green apron and woven shoulder basket. Is carrying a milk pail and a large straw hamper.

She resides inside or outside either of the dairies. But occassionaly she wanders inside the pens in either of the farmland areas to collect eggs and milk the cows.

This NPC sells milk, butter, cheese, and eggs.

a disgruntled gnome butcher (npc)
Is wearing a green overall with a dark blue blood stained apron and black leather knee boots.

He resides inside the slaughterhouse.
This NPC sells various meats. (such as bacon, pork chops, slab of beef, lamb chops, etc.)

a darkly tanned Dwarf (npc)
Is wearing a tanned black leather vest over a white linen longsleeved shirt, a pair of dark blue leather pants and dark green leather ankle boots.

He resides inside the slaughterhouse.
This NPC buys skins/hides and does leather repair.

an aged Human gardener (npc)
Is wearing dark green overalls, a white grass stained apron with a dirty woven sack slung over his left shoulder, and dark brown leather workboots.

He roams the farmlands pulling up or planting crops. He sells all that is ripe of the crops listed in the room descriptions during the end of summer and beginning of fall. During winter and spring he tells you he has nothing to sell.

Furniture options:

There is no exterior decorator as the houses are all preset with the colors. The plantation homes set the color to whom the farmhands owe allegience and fealty to. This area is ranger friendly, but is open to everyone.

Inside the barns are various housing merchants.

One barn could sell the following miscellaneous items:

an oak butter churn (used as a chest)
Look: The churn is worn with use and features a dual buckle strap opening. It appears that the churning peg has been cut off near the inside top of the churn allowing more room to store items inside and glued in place to keep the churning peg from falling through.
Note: You can open and shut it with one item on top and three or is it four? items inside like the chests.
a small walnut bookcase (used as a chest)
a large mistwood heart-shaped wreath adorned with dried taffelberries (hung on wall)
a large woven fishing creel (used as a chest)
a simple pine saw horse (used similar to a chest, except you put all the items ontop of it instead of one on top and the rest inside it. Definitely for the horse riding set.)
an ornately engraved verdigris copper dragon head (hung on wall)
a tall bronze armor rack
an elongated leather notched steel spit (used as a weapon rack)
a cotton stuffed muslin covered tailoring dummy (armor rack or if possible a clothes hanging device)

Another barn could sell the following bed/sofa items:

a medlarwood red velvet cushioned sofa
a light green polkadotted cotton covered sofa
a dark ochre velveteen sofa with a dainty lace doily drape
an ornate nightsilk wrapped sofa trimmed with oak beading
an elegant white lace covered blue nightsilk sofa
a white lace drapped nightsilk covered canopy bed
a comfortable oak feather tick cot
a large spruce feather tick bed
an ornate mistwood lace gathered canopy bed

another barn could sell the following chairs/seat items:

a fancy spruce blue velvet covered stool embroidered with silvery diamonds
a simple ironwood milking stool painted with tiny yellow daisies
a highbacked walnut throne inset with glittering diadems
a tiny oak footstool adorned with painted taffelberries
a long mistwood picnic bench etched with red hearts

another barn could sell the following table items:

a butcher block ironwood table painted with yellow daisies
a long walnut buffet table adorned with a lacy tablecloth
a mistwood picnic table etched with red hearts
an oak framed table inset with a fancy stained glass taffelberries design
a spruce trencher table etched with diamonds

another barn could sell the following wall items:

a polished mistwood walls etched with red hearts
a simple oak walls painted with taffelberries
a spruce wall inset with a diamond patterned stained glass
a wide walnut wall inset with glittering diadems
a butcher block ironwood wall painted with yellow daisies

another barn could sell the following floor items:

a polished mistwood floor trimmed with red hearts
a simple oak floor edged with painted taffelberries
a spruce floor inset with silvery marble diamonds
a wide walnut floor inset with glittering marble diadems
a butcher block ironwood floor inset with yellow marble daisies

another barn could sell the following rug items:

an oval colorful hand woven crazy quilt rug
a red heart-shaped tapestry rug
a rectangular green crocheted rug dotted with tiny yellow daisies
an oblong royal-blue rug dotted with tiny silver diadems
a square straw mat adorned with black taffelberries

a harried gor'tog handyman (npc)
Is wearing green overalls with a black leather tool belt and black leather knee boots. Is carrying a hammer and bucket.

He roams around the middle class area installing and replacing doors.

Wow, you really put alot of thought into those. I like them all.

I did want to mention that the 'disgruntled gnome butcher' appears to have all his fingers, was that an oversight? Never met a butcher with all 10.

Great job!

Don't forget that there is a difference between day descriptions and night descriptions. I would hope that children wouldn't be outside in the winter during the middle of the night.

Lots of places have nighttime descriptions as well. I love the ones on the road from Lang to Theren. The "moo" in the darkness!

I haven't done the night versions yet. I built this area the day I posted it, took me about five hours.

Hopefully, I can get to the night versions this weekend.
