I've seen it happen, but usually not on disarm because you're more likely to die than roll a, eh whatever the opposite of snake eyes is, before dying.

My experience is that if you continued picking that box (assuming you had enough lockpicks) you would eventually pop it. I'm not sure if that is intended in 2.0 but my guess is that nothing has changed in 3.0.

I think disarm is broken somehow, I forgot to post about it earlier but somehow I disarmed a assassin box with 11 locksmithing... I was just messing around trying to blow myself but, didn't think that was going to happen.

If disarming is now [weighted] percentage-based like combat is these days, it doesn't surprise me outside of you being really lucky.

Just like a ship rat always has a chance of hitting you, you may always have a chance of popping a box.



The teeth lands a solid (5/23) hit that pokes the teeth into Turul's rear end (more embarrassing than painful!).

The disarm skillcheck hasn't changed at all, besides pointing to locksmithing instead of disarming. Any quirks in there now are also there in Prime. Might need looking at, but not explicitly DR3-related.
