SP blocks my outgoing "attack" spells. Lay Ward doesn't.

Seemingly by design.

I wonder if any other guild's magic barriers act the same way?

Makes sense really when you think about it, in order to stop the streams, your own are effected..

The combination of SP and Lay Ward is rather nice as well at blocking incoming spells, much more effective now.

It was said that the power of barrier spells is much higher for those that affect the caster's spells as well.
