Fine-targeting inconsistancies 01/17/2013 12:46 PM CST

Not sure if this is magic stuff or warmage spell stuff, but here you go:

Some spells I can fine target (eyes, etc). Some I cannot, but they instead default to the head. Some I cannot, but won't default to the head, but I can then target the head.

You say, "Gonna guinea pig you for some messaging to post."
> praise sams
You praise Samsaren.

Samsaren chuckles.
>
Samsaren says, "Okay."
>
Samsaren asks, "Need me to do anything except look pretty?"
>
You say, "Nah, play to your strengths."

You wink at Samsaren.

You begin to weave mana lines into a target pattern around Samsaren, focusing on his left eye.

The target pattern for the Geyser spell can't be focused that finely.

The fine targeting behavior is handled per spell. Some of the spells are not able to finely target eyes, and were handled differently depending on who wrote the spell. If it turns out to be bothersome, we can review and make them more consistent later.
