This can really be done at any point...
I would really like it if manipulated creatures showed something in the room like how paralyzed creatures show as immobilized. This would help let folks know that the empath isn't just dancing with them. It would also assist when hunting with other players to help let let them know which ones to leave alive. Perhaps is could show up as <creature> with a mesmerized look or something?
I've always felt folks might complain less about "spawn hogging" by empaths if they could tell we were actually using the creatures for something, and not just standing around getting hit.
