The disappearing barb forum 03/30/2014 04:05 PM CDT

Last week something happened to the barb forum on my forum page. It totally disappeared and the only way I can read it is to put the filter on read all. I suspect that I might have accidently used the mark all as read feature (though how I don't know). Is there a way I can get the all the folders listed besides using read all?

This is driving me nuts. I know there must be folks posting in the barb forums and I don't understand why it isn't showing up.

Actually, the barb folders have been pretty dead.

I am curious about what and when things will be coming for barbs in 3.2, but I hesitate to start that conversation before 3.1 is released.

When no one posts, nothing shows up. That's literally what is happening. Don't believe it? Go make a post! Then it will show up.

It's very unusual for any forum to get more than a couple of posts a week. Most topics go months, many go years, between postings.

Recently most of the activity has focused into the 3.1 folders, too. But even that's been slow.

Thank you fellow barbs for the reassurances. Here I was thinking I was missing a whole lot especially with 3.x (whatever it is now) coming soon.

I will stop hyperventilating and do some calming meditations and go back to doing what I love best, killing things!

It may be worth noting that there is the 'all watched' filter, which shows:

A) every forum you have not ignored
(Under the filter 'all,' ignored forums will appear greyed-out)

B) Forums which have no new posts will show the total number of topics and posts in that forum in black.

C) Forums which have new posts will instead show the number of unread topics and posts in red.

A view which you may or may not be interested in.
