Add one more to the list of: "read all new" never failed me before the "upgrade". "Next category" also fails about 1 in 10 to 20 clicks for me. To me the "read all new" button was the one redeeming feature of these boards, and I'm sad to see it gone. The "upgrade" has definitely cut back on my board monkeying, so there's a silver lining I suppose.

I agree with everyone else on the feeling like it's a nerf. Not only do I get the .... making me wait but if I get impatient and go back to the individual topics, some of the time it has marked the new posts as read and I then have to load all the old posts on the last page in order to see what I missed.

In addition, it seems (maybe I'm imagining it) that there's also fewer posts now than before the upgrade. I'm curious how many people got frustrated and just stopped posting and/or using the boards at all. My board reading time has decreased even though I'm spending more time waiting for them to load.

I get these all the time, and it usually does display the messages if you leave it for a bit. If it doesn't, I usually hit F5 and refresh, it tries again without losing any of the new messages.

WAY faster and easier for me than going through each category. So far it hasn't slowed me down too much.

That's usually what works for me as well. But as of late, not at all.
