I don't know if it is not working right only for me, but when I click the voting link over to TopMudSites, the java for the vote doesn't mention DR, and the voting doesn't seem to be showing anywhere near the number of votes that we probably are trying to generate.

I wouldn't worry about it. When Dragonrealms was first listed on TopMUDSites, we had to play catch-up then- and we caught up nicely and left Achea coughing in the dust. We can do it again any time we want to.

<<BTW one reason the other games seem to get more votes is because the ppl who play get an exp bonus or gold for voting. Like achaea you get a 10% exp bonus for the 12hrs every time you vote. Its not because they are better its cause they bribe ppl to vote every 12 hrs. >>

Actually, you bring up a good point, and one that I wanted to announce.

As of a week or so ago, the following rule was put into play for the TopMudSites rankings:

You CANNOT offer incentives or rewards to players for voting. That means you cannot give players items, experience, or anything else in return for votes.

NOW, more than ever, your vote counts, since we're not going up against people who are buying their top positions.

So don't forget to vote for DR whenever you log in to the forums or log on to the website so we can be up top where we belong!
