Goodbye Jeremael 05/26/2005 10:03 PM CDT
I know I already posted in the response to GM announcements, but felt this is a better spot for it.
Jeremael, even though you can't read this I hope that where ever you have gone, that you know how we all feel down here. You've left behind your mark on DR that none will soon forget, you will be greatly missed. Goodbye and forever be in the light.

My condolences to your family.

A scavenger troll arrives, scouring the area.

The scavenger troll exclaims, "I dinks I like da' Moongate!"

The scavenger troll bends over and picks up the Moongate. After appraising it, the troll places the Moongate in its frayed knapsack

I hope that someone is able to relay all the posts and messages to his wife and daughters. They should know how loved and admired Jeremael was. I mean, I'm sure they know... but still. It always eases the pain just a little to know how many lives were touched by someone you loved and lost. Some of the posts I've read already are things that I would want to know if I were in their shoes.

I never got to meet Jeremael or interact with him personally but he was one of those people that you just knew was there, creating and working on the major systems. More than once I remember hearing "Jeremael will fix it" or "When Jeremael gets his hands on that system, it'll smooth out". His loss will be felt by everyone in this community, but I strongly suspect that it will be his calm assurance, his presence that will be missed as much if not more than this coding genius.

I'll be taking care of that for sure.

What happened to this person? Please excuse me for my ignorance but this is the first time I have come to the boards. Please extend my sincere, heart-felt sympathies to his family. I have been in the "sands" for many a day.I have only recently returned to find the game in a different atmosphere.

Acceptance is always the first step in healing.

Jeremael passed away about one month prior to Simucon 2005. He is greatly missed.
