You tap a class-A Terald share inside your leather longcoat.

I'm still waiting on him. And he is long overdue!

You have *no idea* what poor Terald has gone through.

I do of course, but to share it would be to give it away. And there is still good reason to keep mum.

While our intrepid (and very lost) explorer is undoubtedly in a stew of some sort (We sure hope it's not literally, you know how some of those primitive tribes can be!), you may wish to keep an eye open for a friend of his who's a bit down on his luck.

Well she sneaks around the world from Kiev to Carolina
She's a sticky-fingered filcher from Berlin down to Belize
She'll take you for a ride on a slow boat to China
Tell me, where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?

Curse you! Now that song is stuck in my head!

"The AMA Foundation also quotes the National Adult Literacy Survey, which found that 40 to 44 million Americans are functionally illiterate?that is, they read at or below the fifth-grade level. Another 50 million are only marginally literate. These people can read and understand simple information, but can?t use information in complicated or long texts."

Those are adults. You really expect their kids to be much better?

Yup...cause all those kids are (for the most part) in school studying where the states, cities, and countries are. 7th grade my entire history class slot was devoted to world geography. I'm assuming that the kids actually are memorizing and passing their classes rather than their teachers passing them for no reason. Though I've been known to overestimate before.
