I don't expect them to. The game is having enough problems keeping regular GMs and small scale story arcs going. Hitting it back up to peak 'war/invasion' type story arcs that make sweeping changes seems rather like JFK going 'we can't get this Ford to drive from Houston to Florida, but we're just going to go ahead and make a moonbase'.

And they seem to be focused on quality of life changes lately. Rested exp, system overhauls, finishing crafting, etc.

That's setting aside my cynicism about profit requirements from events, which obviously consume a large grain of time for writing, rewriting, item creation, etc.

Sometimes you have to wonder,
How bad could it really be if
Everyone just went their own way..

Would it mean the end of all things
If there was a changing of the guard?
