As much as I want to facepalm over them being at the top of the foodchain, armadillos - at least the juvenile variety - are a really well-made critter.

Stealth adds a bit of flavor and extra perception training, defenses are high (which is a good thing with the way weapon experience is granted now), offensive power is sane, spawn rate is excellent, and the special webbing ability not only teaches escaping, but does so without being OP or too annoying.

I don't think I've enjoyed myself this much since gryphons. Whoever the creator is/was, well done.
