You could probably kill a lot faster thus getting more rubies if you used a real weapon.

I do use a real weapon ME/HE/2HE/LE/HT when hunting dobek's but I still like to raise sling skill in the process. Just curious if there was something else to hunt with slings? That has a nice loot rate and can work my secondary weapon, which happens to be sling.

You can hunt anything with sling that you can hunt with any other weapon right?

Well, yes and no. Anything that resists impact damage is going to be especially painful for a sling user. Also, shields are problematic.
