Warcats cast Calm, which is a willpower defense so disc, wisdom, and int contribute in that order of importance. >Forgive my snark, but welcome to the life of a warrior mage.
I have gone through the various levels of warcats over the last few months and could not avoid the calm until my app exceeded the warcat's discipline. Swan helped with one, but was worthless with 2 or more. As I recall I outclassed the lowest warcat between 30 and 35 discipline. Don't remember for sure though. I pumped it up to 50 and was happy with the results.
