Mage bug is back 12/17/2010 11:52 AM CST
It was gone for about two weeks.. then it happened today about 3 or 4 times in a span of ten minutes.

Here is the perfect example -

>
You assess your combat situation...

You (solidly balanced) are facing a grey clay mage (2) at melee range.
A grey clay mage (1: solidly balanced) is moving to flank you at pole weapon range.
A grey clay mage (2: enervated and solidly balanced) is facing you at melee range.
A grey clay mage (3: enervated and nimbly balanced) is moving behind you at pole weapon range.

(You are also defending against a grey clay mage.)
>
The clay mage closes to melee range on you!
>attack other mage
< Driving in like an adept combatant, you slice a gruesome blackened-steel chain blade at a grey clay mage. A grey clay mage attempts to evade, leaning wrong and blundering into the blow. The blade lands a powerful strike that exposes bone along the entire left arm and spatters blood everywhere as it attempts to regain balance.
The arm falls to the ground and shatters into a thousand pieces!
A grey clay fragment flies directly at you! However, you easily dodge out of the way.
[You're invigorated, nimbly balanced and in superior position.]

* Driving in like an unbeatable force, a grey clay mage swings at you. You evade, jumping to one side.
[You're invigorated, nimbly balanced and in good position.]
>attack other mage
< Driving in with naturally fluid movements, you bash a war mattock at a grey clay mage. A grey clay mage attempts to evade, taking the full blow. The mattock lands a powerful strike that rips open the entire left thigh as fractured bones tear through the skin's surface knocking it back onto the mage's rear.
The clay mage falls to the ground with a clatter, creating a sound similar to a pot being dropped onto a rock from a great height.
[You're solidly balanced]
[Roundtime 6 sec.]
>
A grey clay mage raises its arms, its immobile fingertips glowing with magic.
>
A grey clay mage cracks apart and then splits into useless pieces of pottery. >>(It despawned before my RT was over)<<
>

>
A grey clay mage stands perfectly still, looking for all the world like a regular statue.
>ass

A grey clay mage (2: enervated and nimbly balanced) is behind you at melee range.

The normal death messaging when killed is:

The clay mage falls apart into a pile of worthless pottery shards.

This message makes them bug out:

The clay mage falls to the ground with a clatter, creating a sound similar to a pot being dropped onto a rock from a great height.
