Making it easier... 03/10/2003 12:31 PM CST
I've heard (and read) that using a knife makes the tending process easier. Do I just have to hold the knife? Do I have to "tend my left leg with knife" "tend my left leg with my knife" can i use the "remove leech/worm with my knife". Etc. I'm playing the syntax game, and without messaging to denote whether i truely am using my knife, i'm a bit lost. I'm pretty bad at tending no matter what.

Also, can any other rangers confirm HOL helping?

Thanks

Positive the syntax is "tend my <body part> with my knife", and haven't done any testing to see if HoL affects it, although it might since it teaches skinning so perhaps skinning skill may be involved.

Which would explain why I have such an easy time removing them although I only have 132 FA ... I also have 221 skinning. :-D

And, Rangers are also using their Animal Lore ranks to help...

Been tending these all day.

I've critically failed with and without a knife out. Don't see a huge difference with or without.

Also see no difference in success rate between using "tend my <body part>" or "remove leech". I prefer remove leech cause I'm too lazy to type out a body part.

I don't think there's big difference using HoL, but haven't been testing it using it too long.

Course, I should get exact numbers down. Guess I'll start that tomorrow
