Locksmithing and the slow down of combat 05/17/2014 11:27 AM CDT
Any chance that boxes could get a MASSIVE uptweak in experience (or have mobs drop more boxes) since combat has been greatly slowed down?

A rusty iron door just swung into the room!

>describe door
Despite its decrepit appearance, the door swings around with incredible energy. Jagged shards of glass float around the door on either side almost resembling arms.

>attack door
Your scimitar thuds loudly against the door. Not particularly effective.

>disarm door
You are able to discern a small cryptic symbol. You slam your scimitar into the symbol, destroying it completely! The floating shards of glass fall to the ground.

>stow scimitar
You put your scimitar in your sheath.

>get lockpick
You get a stout lockpick from inside your hip pouch.

>attack door
You lunge your lockpick at a rusty iron door. The door fails to dodge, failing miserably. The lockpick turns inside the door's lock with a satisfying click.
The door swings back and forth a few times before clattering to the ground.

>skin door
Dude, it's a door. A magic door, but still.

>search door
You grab the door by the handle and life one side. The door opens into a staircase which descends into a magical cavern filled with treasure boxes.

I love the Door-Construct idea....

At least I think it should be a construct... that also can work Locksmithing in combat, but dangerously.

Perhaps an illusion and maze of other doors it leads to... but how to get out?
