Grappling/shoving. 05/01/2017 09:06 PM CDT
I have a question about this. I largely ignored tactics training because it's tertiary for me, and when it was introduced, I would've had to backtrain it to an insane degree to get it to work on at-level creatures. Because of this, in duels, whenever I'm grappled, it's game over, there's zero chance of me breaking it. How weighted is the contest between brawling(I assume grapple works off of brawling skill) and shove? Would I need similar tactics to my opponent's brawling to be able to break grapple, or is it heavily weighted towards the shove side? I don't want to go into a huge rant about game balance and logic without all the facts first, but it seems like this is a huge flaw.

Grappling is pure tactics. Brawling governs damage-dealing commands only.
