A gargantuan Idon war icon set atop a polished haft of silverwood is a two-handed edged pole-ranged weapon.

You are certain that it could do:
low (3/25) puncture damage
severe (13/25) slice damage
fair (5/25) impact damage

You are certain that the icon is dismally (2/13) balanced and is well (9/13) suited to gaining extra attack power from your strength.

A gargantuan Idon war icon set atop a polished haft of silverwood is a two*-*handed blunt pole*-*ranged weapon.

You are certain that it could do:
no (0/25) puncture damage
low (3/25) slice damage
mighty (17/25) impact damage

You are certain that the icon is dismally (2/13) balanced and is well (9/13) suited to gaining extra attack power from your strength.

You are certain that the Idon icon is a bit safeguarded against damage (10/18), and is in pristine condition (98-100%).

The Idon icon is made with metal.
You are certain that the Idon icon weighs exactly 70 stones.
You are certain that the Idon icon is worth exactly 902000 dokoras.

So here's to hoping low balance won't be such a huge downer under the new combat paradigm!

Looks like someone renamed those old pole-ranged mallets.

So they are exactly the same? Price is different for sure, the new ones the price went way way up, is the weight the same? One is 70 (certain) other was just a confident app at 75.

They are all the same. But the price goes up each time one is bought, but only for that item. So those Trothfang ones are getting pretty expensive.

That's actually kind of a cool system. Or would be if I hadn't found out about the Icons two days after the festival opened and got a Trothfang one myself.

And while not completely on topic, I discovered that the burlap baldric from the Asketi shop is pretty awesome. I was trying to find something to put my Icon in since it's too long for a backpack or haversack and my shoulder slots are pretty full and found out it fits in that baldric. And then kept putting stuff in the baldric with NO END IN SIGHT

> rum baldric
You rummage through a rough burlap baldric and see a gargantuan Trothfang war icon set atop a haft of unhewn bloodwood, a steel-wrapped ironwood composite bow with a braided spidersilk bowstring, a bone-inlaid assassin's bow, a longbow, a balanced boar spear chiseled with rampaging centaurs, a steel-headed hand mallet with a black goblin hide grip, a scimitar, a katar, a twisted black horn, a blackened steel broadsword with a golden hilt, a gruesome blackened-steel chain blade and a staff sling.
