At some point in the day on Wednesday, December 5th, we will be releasing to the public a new type of pack animal on Aesry Surlaenis. These will only be available on Surlaenis, and they are not compatible with the main trading systems on the mainland (i.e. contracts and commodities).

These pack animals were developed for two primary reasons. First is to provide a limited release in order to test some new systems that we have been working on. Second is to provide yet another tool for Traders who choose to live out on Surlaenis.

In most ways these are similar to the individual pack animals that you are familiar with. They respond to the same commands (follow and wait), they get hungry (though how that works is different), they can drag corpses and so on.

Other than being restricted in location, these animals are also restricted to Traders of 35th circle and up.

These animals are rentable from two stables on Surlaenis, one near the Trader Guild and the other near the city.

Again, these should be available at some point during the day on Wednesday.
