The techies have searched through the system gobbledygook and located some critters that are chewing up MASSIVE amounts of CPU cycles. I'll be speaking with the owner of the critters today and getting them looked at. Hopefully this will have a marked improvement on the system response time.

(The reason this lag wasn't showing up in The Fallen is because no one is even CLOSE to high enough to hunt them yet, so no critters were being generated.)

Danalae and one of the superb techies just found four rooms in Prime that had over 200 of the offending critters "trapped" with no way out. They were just standing around sucking up CPU cycles....a LOT of them.

The offending creatures have been deleted and I am hoping this in itself will have a decent impact on system response time. Danalae is continuing through the area checking to see why the critters were getting stuck in the rooms they were in and we'll probably be turning off the area shortly until we can get the code responsible for the critters re-evaluated.
