An easy win for group content? 12/11/2019 11:07 AM CST

What if all guilds had a way to interact with someone not in their room, within their own realms of ownership. Think of a spell like locate. Not the functionality, but the ability to send a particle to a room and interact with it (backtrace or see the description, etc).

A few ideas:

- Barbarians: Roars to buff PCs or debuff NPCs/PCs in nearby rooms. Works like hunt, but gives an advantage.
- Bards: Maybe a way to link nearby rooms for talking/whispering purposes. A words on the wind idea. Their cyclic could also carry to nearby rooms. Maybe bring back call of the siren to mix into this effect.
- Clerics: They already have SA and vigil. Maybe have your OM buffs extend to your vigil target?
- Empaths: Allow links to persist at range. Empathy determines distance. This is for skill sharing and hodierna's hand.
- Moon Mages: Already have locate, moon gate, shadewatch mirror, mind shout on their moonbeam, and maybe allow seer's sense to give a buff to the target and the caster when linked.
- Necromancers: Have them "push" mana out of their room into nearby rooms.
- Paladin: A spell to extend lead to PCs in nearby rooms, an "auto-protect" feature which can cause you to rush to your target if close by when they're injured.
- Rangers: Similar to paladins, but using scouting or tracking. Allow casting buffs on allies you've marked and tracking back to the room you're in (physically you n ever leave the room - just messaging)
- Thieves: Shadowstep to a hunted target and backstab it. Maybe a treasure seeking aura that boosts returns or box drop rates that spreads to nearby rooms.
- Traders: ??
- Warrior Mages: Let you target anyone with your spells if they're in your room or the room with your familiar. If you use cast creatures then the familiar echos the spell in their room only if it's not the same room you're in.

Mind shout was divorced from a focused moonbeam in 2016, just as a fyi. It only affects targets in the same room as the MM.
